Effective date: August 19, 2026
DebtOptimizerHub is a calculator, financial-education, and planning-software website. Public calculators do not require an account. The Debt Payoff Planner is preparing for launch and is not currently available for public account creation or paid subscription access.
Calculator entries are processed in your browser and are not sent to Google Analytics as calculator inputs or result values.
Shared calculator links can contain scenario values in the URL. Google Analytics page-view tracking is configured to omit the URL query string, but anyone who receives a shared link may be able to view the values contained in that link.
We aim to minimize data collection and use information only to operate, secure, measure, and improve the site, provide requested email content, support the advertising or referral features described in this policy, and, when the Debt Payoff Planner launches, provide account-based planning and subscription services.
We may collect limited information automatically through standard web technologies, including:
Calculator balances, APRs, payments, credit limits, fees, payoff targets, and calculated results are processed in your browser. These financial values are not included in the custom events that DebtOptimizerHub sends to Google Analytics.
Some calculators use browser storage, including local storage or session storage, to remember entries, restore a recently calculated scenario, or pass information from one calculator to another. This information remains within your browser unless you choose to share a generated scenario link. You can remove browser-stored information by clearing site data through your browser settings.
Shared calculator links may place scenario information in the link's query string. Do not share a calculator link unless you are comfortable allowing the recipient to view the values included in it.
The Debt Payoff Planner is currently preparing for launch. When Planner account access becomes available, account authentication is expected to be provided through Supabase Auth.
If you create a Planner account after account access launches, information processed for authentication may include your email address, account identifier, email-confirmation status, authentication timestamps, session information, and related account-security information. This information will be used to create and secure the account, restore signed-in sessions, send account-confirmation and password-recovery messages, and provide account-related support.
Passwords will be submitted to the authentication provider and will not be stored by DebtOptimizerHub as plaintext passwords.
Authentication services may store session information in your browser so that a signed-in session can be restored after a page reload. Session information may include an access token, refresh token, account identifier, and session-expiration information. Signing out will end the active session in that browser according to the authentication service's session controls.
Account-confirmation and password-recovery messages may be delivered through third-party email infrastructure used by DebtOptimizerHub. Those providers may process the recipient address, message content, delivery attempts, and related routing or security information needed to deliver the messages.
When the Debt Payoff Planner launches, signed-in users will be able to save planning information to an account-based cloud service so that plans can be restored and synchronized across supported devices.
Planner information may include plan names, debt names and types, balances, APRs and scheduled APR changes, payment settings, due-day information, payoff assumptions and goals, payment records and notes, projection baselines, saved scenarios, monthly progress check-ins, milestones, plan-version history, exports or backup-related metadata, and Planner settings.
DebtOptimizerHub plans to use Supabase as the authoritative cloud data store for signed-in Planner data, with account-based access controls intended to restrict access to records associated with the authenticated account.
The Planner is also designed to maintain a working cache in IndexedDB in the browser to support fast local updates, synchronization, and limited offline behavior. Clearing browser site data can remove the local cache, but it will not necessarily delete cloud-stored Planner information after cloud accounts become available.
When Planner data is available in the cloud, product controls are intended to allow users to delete individual plans or Planner data associated with their account. Deleting Planner data will not automatically cancel a paid subscription, and canceling a subscription will not automatically delete stored Planner data.
The Planner is designed to provide downloadable export and backup features. If password-encrypted backups are offered, encryption and decryption will occur in the browser, and DebtOptimizerHub will not be able to recover a forgotten backup password.
If optional Planner email reminders are enabled after launch, DebtOptimizerHub may send the account email address and limited reminder content, such as a saved debt name, due date, scheduled APR-change date, or monthly check-in reminder, to the configured transactional email-delivery provider. Reminder emails are not intended to include saved balances, payment amounts, or calculated payoff results.
Some calculator result pages offer an optional email course. Calculator results and other standard calculator features, including printable reports where available, remain available without subscribing.
If you submit an email signup form, the email address and any other information you voluntarily enter in that form are sent to EmailOctopus, our email service provider. We use that information to deliver the email course and any related messages described when you subscribe.
Calculator balances, APRs, payments, fees, credit limits, savings estimates, payoff periods, and other calculated values are not automatically attached to the EmailOctopus signup form.
EmailOctopus may process subscription and delivery information, including confirmation status, delivery attempts, bounces, spam complaints, and unsubscribe requests. When email measurement features are enabled, EmailOctopus may also report whether an email was opened or whether a link in an email was clicked.
Each email in the course includes an unsubscribe option. After you unsubscribe, EmailOctopus may retain an unsubscribed status for the address so that it is not accidentally added back to future mailings.
For more information about how EmailOctopus handles information, visit EmailOctopus's privacy policy.
The Debt Payoff Planner is not currently accepting public paid subscriptions. When paid subscriptions launch, checkout and payment processing are expected to be handled through Stripe.
Information submitted during Stripe-hosted or Stripe-processed checkout will be provided to Stripe and handled according to Stripe's applicable terms and privacy practices. DebtOptimizerHub will not receive complete payment-card numbers.
DebtOptimizerHub may receive and store limited billing and entitlement information needed to provide subscription access, such as a Stripe customer identifier, subscription identifier, product or price identifier, subscription status, billing-period dates, cancellation status, and payment or webhook event identifiers. These records are intended to be kept separate from the balances, APRs, payments, notes, and other contents of a user's debt plan.
Stripe and DebtOptimizerHub may retain transaction and subscription records as reasonably necessary for billing, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, support, dispute handling, security, and legal compliance.
We use Google Analytics to understand page visits, navigation, downloads, product-page activity, and general feature use. Google Analytics may process information such as session activity, approximate location, and browser or device information.
DebtOptimizerHub may send general behavioral events indicating that:
These events may include general identifiers such as the calculator name, page category, form identifier, product version, placement location, export type, scenario type, or other coarse feature categories. They do not include email addresses, payment-card information, debt names, calculator balances, APRs, payments, fees, credit limits, debt amounts, scenario assumptions, notes, savings results, payoff periods, progress variance, or other calculated outcomes.
Page-view tracking uses the page path without the URL query string.
